From Cairo to Gaza: A Journey We Won’t Forget

A few days ago, our team set off for Cairo with one clear purpose: to make sure aid for Gaza was prepared properly and sent without delay. This wasn’t just another appeal or another shipment — this was about responsibility, urgency, and honouring the trust placed in us.

Our Chairman, Moulana Zakariyya Mohomed, travelled with the team. For him, and for all of us, it was important to be there personally. To see the process. To oversee the work. To know, with certainty, that what had been donated would reach the people it was intended for.

Where Your Donations Turn Into Aid

As soon as we arrived in Egypt, we made our way to the warehouse. This is where things became real.

Stacks of boxes filled the space. Supplies waiting to be packed. Empty trucks ready to be loaded. It was here that generosity turned into action.

Our team spent hours packing and loading two full trucks with food packs destined for Gaza. Every box was lifted by hand. Every pallet carefully stacked. It was hard work, but no one slowed down — because every single food pack represented a family that hasn’t had it easy for a long time.

Each food pack cost £35, and through your support we raised £70,000. That meant 2,000 food packs prepared and ready to go.

That’s 2,000 families who will receive food at a time when finding even one proper meal has become a daily struggle.

Thinking About Who This Is For

While packing, it was impossible not to think about where these boxes were going. Families living under blockade. Parents trying to stretch whatever little food they have. Children going to sleep hungry, unsure of when their next meal will come.

This convoy isn’t a solution to everything — but it is relief. It is support. It is a reminder that the people of Gaza are not alone.

On the Road to Gaza

The trucks are now on their way to the Rafah border. After inspection, they will enter Gaza, where our trusted local partners will distribute the food directly to families in need.

With Allah’s permission, we expect to receive confirmation within the next week that the aid has arrived and is being distributed on the ground.

A Trust We Carry Seriously

We know that when you donate, you’re giving more than money. You’re giving your trust. Your intention. Your hope that someone, somewhere, will be helped.

That’s why trips like this matter to us. Being present. Seeing the process. Making sure everything is done properly. This is an amanah we don’t take lightly.

Thank You for Standing With Gaza

This convoy happened because of you.

Every donation, every share, every dua played a role in getting these trucks loaded and moving. What started as generosity from thousands of people has now turned into real aid heading straight towards Gaza.

We’ll continue to keep you updated as soon as we receive confirmation that the food has reached families on the ground. Until then, please keep the people of Gaza in your duas — and know that your support is already making a difference.
